Commercial EPC-SBEM Level 3

For smaller commercial properties with straightforward heating and cooling systems. Perfect for shops, offices and mixed-use buildings needing a fast, fully compliant EPC.

Existing building with simple heating system less than 100kw (Boiler & Rads / electric room heaters etc) and/or cooling (Air/Conditioning) less than 12kw & natural ventilation & basic lighting systems

Commercial EPC-SBEM Level 4

Ideal for larger or more complex buildings with advanced HVAC systems. Used where more detailed modelling is required for accurate compliance & understanding the energy efficiency of the building.

Newly-built or large existing buildings with heating system more than 100kw and/or cooling (A/C) more than 12kw or VAV fan coils chilled ceilings VRF multi split cooling, centralised A/C AHU

Display Energy Certificate

Required for public buildings over 250m² occupied by a public authority, frequently accessed for use by the public i.e. Leisure Centre, Schools/College, Library, Doctors/Dentists/Medical Centres etc.

DECs last for 1 year for buildings with a total useful floor area more than 1,000 square metres. They last for 10 years when the total useful floor area is over 250 square metres and up to 1,000 square metres

Residential EPC-RdSAP

Required when selling, renting or marketing an existing property. Carried out quickly with minimal disruption, typically completed within a single visit. Valid for 10 years and essential for legal compliance/property transactions

RdSAP EPCs assess the energy efficiency of existing homes for sale or rent. Valid for 10 years, providing an energy rating and recommendations to help improve the property’s efficiency.

Part L2 Compliance/BRUkL

Required for New Builds, Extensions, Conversions and material change of use from one class to another to ensure your building is compliant with the current Part L2 regulations at design stage and built stage

SBEM Calculations & BRUKL Reports for compliance of approved documents Part L2a & Part L2b of building regulations to support Building Control sign off at design stage and as built stage

On-Construction SAP/EPC

Professional on-site assessment

We visit the property to inspect the building, collect measurements and record the construction, services and energy-related features needed to produce your EPC or compliance report.

During the visit

Access required to all areas including any heating, hot water, ventilation, and renewables systems. (Boilers, Heat Pumps, Solar PV systems etc.) Access required to areas containing insulation such as lofts. Documentation may be required to include some elements.

Following the assessment, we prepare your Energy Performance Certificate or compliance report and lodge it with the appropriate accreditation body on to the central government register where required.
